Interconnect, Phono & Subwoofer Cables:

Thank you for the purchase of your Morrow Audio cables. They were handmade by Mike Morrow himself with the greatest of care and pride. Please read this whole paper which will help you understand the proper use and installation of your new cables.

Improvements:

We are always striving to improve our cables. This may cause your cables to not look exactly as they appear on the website. If your cables reflect this, it is because your model has been improved. Lucky you!

Direction Orientation:

The end with the Morrow Audio label is the output end of the cable and should be orientated in that manner. For example, the labeled end would go to the amplifier, preamplifier, subwoofer, etc. The non-labeled end would go to the source like a CD player, tuner, turntable, etc.

Balanced cables do not apply to direction orientation since they can only be used in one direction due to their plugs.

MA1 Cables do not have a labeled end. There is no cable direction for first time hookup, simply retain the same direction for all future hookups.

Your Chosen RCA Plug and How To Insert It Properly (Balanced cables do not apply):

Depending on the RCA’s you selected, you will either have the WBT style, the standard style or the Eichmann RCA’s

  1. Standard RCA style: Simple insertion is all that is required.
  2. WBT style RCA: The WBT style has the ability to be tightened down after inserting it into the receiving plug. First turn the outside barrel of the RCA on your interconnects counter-clockwise (as seen from the end) to loosen them. After inserting, turn the same barrel clockwise to tighten it down on the receiving connector. Do not over-tighten or use pliers to do so.
  3. Eichmann RCA’s: The Eichmann RCA’s differ from normal RCA’s in that the ground connection is made through a small pin. Insert the plug as usual until it is firmly seated.

Breaking In Your New Cables:

You can begin using your cables right away and simply listen to them over the break-in period. We encourage you to read the enclosed break-in paper which will help you understand the process and what you will hear. Please also refer to it for ways that you can break-in your cables faster.
