The blackest background, tonal purity and sonic realism ever heard...
"I recently purchased the MAP2 power cord to replace some well known high end power cords on my Sheng Ya (Vincent) 300 wpc, class A monoblock power amps. Since their installation my system has never had blacker backgrounds nor greater tonal purity and sonic realism. These cords are superlative performers and represent equally impressive value." John
Much better than Monster Cable...
"Hi Mike, just a note to say the MAP2's are broken in and are definitely an upgrade over the old Monsters. Better extension at both ends and improved clarity in the mids. One note however is that they are ruthless (can't think of another word) of poorly recorder voices - and many concert DVD's have this problem. Not a negitive, just my experience. Thanks for your help. Maybe some day I'll look into your power cords for my YBA Passion integrated." M Condon

Our power cables use 12 gauge stranded Silver-coated Copper wire in multiple runs for each leg. All insulation is high grade Teflon, complete with Wattgate connectors. Heads above the rest for an affordable price.
The MAP2 has more runs of wire than are found in the MAP1. There are 3 runs of wire on each leg. It is designed for all power applications like power amplifiers, tube preamplifiers, integrates, monoblock amplifiers and other components. This cable has been noted for powerful bass, great detail, black background and resolution retrieval. As with all series 2 and 3 cables, the reverse side of the label is hand singed by Mike Morrow in silver ink.
Which Power Cord Should I Use?
As you move up the line, each model provides a greater resolution of
sound, regardless of the product it is supplying power to. However, to
provide ease in application, we provide the recommendations below...
| MAP1 | CD transport, CD or DVD player, tuner, phono related |
|---|---|
| MAP2 | Low power integrated or amp, preamplifier, DAC |
| MAP3 | Medium to high power integrated or amp, subwoofer |
The MAP2 is the same price up to 1 meter. Other length and termination options are selectable in the shopping cart through drop down boxes.
Our power cords come with the very well acclaimed 5266i and 320i standard Wattgate connectors, which are very good sounding in their own respect. For the ultimate power cord, we offer the Reference Audio Grade 330i and 350i Wattgate connectors through a drop down box in the shopping cart.
There are two IEC options for both the standard and audio grade connectors depending on your need. They are pictured below to help you understand the differences.
